InQI was founded after years of watching the same problem repeat — every project starts with site data collection, manual code lookups, and cost estimates built on guesswork. Ali Tehranchi saw this firsthand running Bay Scenery, a design-build firm in the Bay Area, and decided the industry needed a different starting point.
We built InQI around one idea: anchor everything to the property address. The address knows more than people realize — parcel boundaries, topography, zoning rules, jurisdiction codes, local cost conditions. InQI reads all of it automatically and puts it to work through a platform of AI agents that grow smarter with every project.
InQI is bootstrapped, community-driven, and built with a team of AEC veterans and engineers who care about getting the details right. We're not building for demos — we're building for the professionals who have real work to do.

Founder & CEO
LinkedInAli Tehranchi is the Founder and CEO of InQI, where he is pioneering the use of artificial intelligence to reimagine how properties move from concept to construction. A lifelong builder and technologist, Ali has combined his background as an electrical engineer and his experience leading a successful tech exit to Microsoft with years of hands-on work running Bay Scenery, a design-build construction firm. That dual perspective revealed a core bottleneck in the AEC industry: the costly, time-consuming design process that slows down every project. Ali founded InQI to solve this challenge, anchoring the entire workflow around the property address and using AI to deliver speed, accuracy, and creativity at scale.
